Has anyone ever stayed at The Stay hotel on Soi 10?

Booked over Xmas for £40 a night, large room and seems cheap.

Stayed at Page 10, it was sound.

I stayed in Page 10 before, nice hotel, good area, large rooms and it looks very similar to The Stay. But is nearly twice the price.

Can't remember what I paid when I stayed there before but no way would I have paid more than £50 a night, likewise I never looked at The Stay before, I assume it was because it was more than my budget.

I have heard reports that Page 10 has had a face lift which could explain the price increase, but also has The Stay deteriorated so much that this reflects on the £40 a night price?

Christmas is peak season, so there's always going to be higher prices, plus for Xmas day and NYE a one off premium "payment" on top of that for many Hotels.

As a couple of alternatives, try Blue sky on Soi 5 which is quiet, has a pool and clean rooms, the LK group and there's D hotel on Buakhao.

For that kind of money you could do a lot worse than the LK Metropole, coming in at £40 per night for December, plus if you email them direct you might get it a bit cheaper.
