coxyhog Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 I just discovered that my sister-in law's iPad(that my missus was using) has a badly swollen battery and is coming apart at the seams. The missus wanted to glue it back together😳but I think I've persuaded her that it's not a good thing to do. Makes me wonder what the outcome would've been if I hadn't seen it....not good I'll bet. Now I have to find a safe place to dispose of it. 1

There's a floor in The Mall here in Korat that's full of techie type shops, going to take it there tomorrow & see if we can get the battery replaced. 3
joker Posted September 19, 2022 Posted September 19, 2022 Same thing happened with an old Surface Pro of mine - I just dumped it as it was small and getting old. But for sure you can get a new battery fitted, I wouldn't even bother doing it myself when someone else can do it for almost nothing in terms of Baht. 1
