Painter Posted November 25, 2022 Share Posted November 25, 2022 I hesitate to post these out-of-focus, taken on my phone pics of the first set of bangs and flashes... but I'm sure someone with a decent lens and who knows what they are doing will be along soon! At 7.30, 3 white fireworks went off, to a huge cheer from the crowds then nothing for 15 minutes At 7.45 this set started. The danger of me saying that is that ones memory of previous events is not always accurate. I do not know whether the organisers were relying more this year on contrast than colour, but for me the colours and depth of colour were not there this time. One issue tonight was that due to a lack of wind the smoke from the fireworks collected, having an adverse effect on photography.
