Yesitisdakid
Every trip I make the Bangkok for two or three days each day I will go into this place to see what's going on there's never anything going on but as the title said old habits die hard 4
boydeste
I had to take a look a couple of weeks ago too. Pretty drab it was. 1 1
Derek Dangleberries
I went in there a week before The King died (I mention it as a time stamp) and it was nothing more than a large shed with a leaky roof. Sad! Victoria Bar was long gone! Surprisingly the outdoor patio of The Landmark at Happy Hour ended up as my favourite spot .. Who'd of thunk it !!
Glasseye
There was a couple of years (maybe 3) when I stayed at a place on Soi 7/1. There was a cut through near the hotel that came out near the Bier Garden. So.... one day I strolled over there to have a look. Walked in, went to the toilet for a piss and walked out. Wasn't very impressed.
Golfingboy
My only visit was around New Year’s 2012, I was spending a couple days in BKK between Pattaya & CM. Nice lady probably same age as me ~35 sat down, I said why not…..didn’t come here for the beer! Took her to Soi 33 where I stayed, couple of rounds and we both passed out…I remember I wanted to hit the buffet by 10 am, so good time for her to go. She had tried for 2K, but was good with 1. Great service I must say, think it was the old “rent is due” cliche. That being said, even 11 years ago I believe I had already missed the glory days many of you more experienced guys talk about Edited December 5, 2022 by Golfingboy

Yessongs
Yeah we all have stories from the Bier Garten...2006 I went there, ended up with a gal who was from Udon Thani I remember her telling me. Got to say, she had a very nice pair of naturals.....that's all I remember LOL! Remember Evil Knievel saying in an interview many years ago " Have fun in life, god knows I did, nothing lasts forever" 1
Golfingboy
However bad the Garden has gotten, it can’t be worse than what I just scrolled through my 1st time on Facebook dating. I guess there are more popular options like Tinder, and it also makes sense since I’m 46 I won’t get 22 year old models as suggestions…..but still. 95% + just, well, dogs….there I said it

I have often said that I don't care how long somebody has lived here. If a bloke gets off the plane on his first trip abroad and finds a cracking bar up a side street full of 40 yr something MILFs, he deserves as much kudos as an expat that thinks he knows every bar on every street. 1 1

Also the likelihood is that he has been living with some ugly hag that has been bossing him about for 30 plus years and hasn't been laid for half of that. 1

My first experience of both the Bier Garden and Thermae was in the late 80s and early 90s. Both were great places to visit, always came back out with a good looker. Times have changed obviously.
