Golfingboy
Just remembered this from 2 Saturdays ago. Was watching the French news with Mum on a Friday, and they said one of our national railways was resuming this event for the first time since 2019 due to the pandemic. So the following night, we scooped up the nephew and went about 30 minutes away to small town called Delson. Arrived about an hour early, they were serving free hot chocolate & we brought a donation for the food bank tent. By the time the train pulled up, this empty gravel lot had swelled to oh, I’d say 6-7,000 people. Not the place to be if you’re scared of the virus, we were jammed like sardines trying to get a good view. About 14 cars all decorated, one has a sliding door open up and some bands start playing Nothing too special, but we were all very glad we went, nice to see the holiday spirit put out like that 2
