Bang for your $, I think we can all agree the Corvette is one of the best sports cars out there. Well it was around 2010 when I can remember still seeing base models for sale for $65K CAD…..Just saw a video from Hoovie where he’s told a new 670 HP Z06 is $155K USD, no negotiation possible…but present day, supply & demand, whatever people are willing to pay….

Anyway, in the rest of Canada I would have gladly purchased a Vette. But here in Montreal, the first thing that literally comes out of anyone’s mouth when they see one is “ Grosse Corvette, petite quequete”. Basically big Corvette, small wiener. Now people might be thinking the same thing about the driver when when they see a Ferrari or huge lifted pickup truck, but the fact that it rhymes with the car……Be interesting to see what Quebec’s Corvette sales are per capita compared to Alberta or Ontario.

Anyway still a beautiful car, too bad inflation made it very pricey and they’ve done away with the manual transmission

The only thing a car says about you is the size of your wallet.

But I’ve learned in time that an exotic car is not THAT big of a money pit compared to a boat/yacht……Good Lord you must have deep pockets to own those

Planes are even more of a money pit. And let's not start on the third "F" 😉

I remember reading that

if it

FUCKS

FLOATS

or

FLIES

Then just rent it

Maybe not in that exact order, but yes, you got the third "F" in there.

so let me take you on a little tour, of the kings cross area of London in the 60s, when brasses sat in cafe windows and cars slowed for them.  they were one step up from the street meat btw.

the gals had codes.  one was BCSD  ..Big car small dick.  ( it wasnt sport cars note 🙂 )

sadly having owned a 928, 944, SUVs and a Rolls I am constantly checking porn pages to see if I match up to the norm  5555555

BCSD - couldn't you just check the mirror and garage?

Nice! I too have owned a 944 and a S2.

Great cars! I put about 250K miles on the 944 with minimum maintaince but the Rolls was a different story.

I am almost embarrassed to say I once owned an MG Midget  🤣

MG Midgets, Austin Healy Sprites and Triumph Spitfires don't count as sports cars unless you also wore a cloth cap and fingerless leather gloves with string backs.

This is the only vehicle I've ever owned that could be classified as a sports car 1975 Fiat x19. That car could perform it was great fun with the t-tops in the summer. Mine was identical in color but this is a stock photo
