Theres a group of about 30 that show up every day for breakfast lunch and dinner as the homeowner feeds them dried corn. Then as I was leaving we had Fred the bald eagle stop in to check out the fish pond. They have 25 or so ( depending on Fred and his wife ) trout that are a good 20 inches long. But they are still pretty much dormant on the bottom of the pond as it's still damn cold. Then when I finally got into town I got stuck in a doggone traffic jam behind a buck going about a quarter mile an hour. It's pretty hard to come up with anything to really complain about around here. I've got a really nice place to call home. This is Fred from the deck eyeballing the fish pond. It's a little after 5pm so the light is pretty bad. This angle is from the driveway heading out to the highway. The house in the background is where I'm working. I've never cooked cakes in a microwave before, but YouTube's great! 2 banana cakes with different ingredients (the middle one needed a few seconds longer), one chocolate. It was called Hospital and I caught it when they were about to wheel Joe into the operating theater to repair a hole in his heart. Having had a heart operation I was intrigued to see the actual operation although this was catheter style rather than my open heart surgery. Still I was not expecting the outcome where Joe died on the operating table while the cameras recorded everything, really upset me and brought a tear to my eye. Strong TV indeed.
