Watching the Brighton game on tv in my new gaff , my first night here , had the plumber and electrician round today sorting out "snags" , the hot and cold were the wrong way round on the shower mixer and it was either hot or cold , nothing in between.... they forgot to plug in the fridge and freezer ... there were no sockets left under the units .... but all sorted now 555

apart from I can't get my Sonos to work on this new network, will try the help desk tomorrow 🙂

There were sockets but inaccessible... they had put them inside a cupboard.....so he disconnected those and put in a double socket under the unit ...now it's done all okay 🙂

WiFi speakers , can access your music library as well as any you subscribe to like Spotify , but it won't recognise the new router ... tried resetting and following all the instructions, but nothing works ... hopefully a bit of human help will get it sorted

Some routers work on 2 frequencies ( 2.4GHz and 5GHz ) but the device will only see one of them, I had to access my router and get the two frequencies separated which gave two different ID's to log into, then my new devices would see the one it wanted and log in as normal. Worth a try me thinks.

@roomark How is the talent at Ibar these days? If you see this gal, ask her if she is still a Dental Assistant?

To be honest mate it's been a long month and I've been out most nights..

I Bar is a bit pretentious but there are some lookers (and always has been ) Pattaya on a whole i've enjoyed .

Phuket I loved in the day I had a car and bike so went everywhere I got sick of it on Bangla real quick this time around though.

Bangkok I only did one night on the way in only stayed on Soi 4 mainly, but absolutely loved it the girls are way friendlier than anywhere else and more up for a laugh (you obviously know more than me ) I did plan on going back for a couple more nights , but it's not worked out like that.

I go home at the end of the month and when I do eventually come back (maybe Xmas 2020 because I'm planning on going to Europe this summer a couple of times and maybe somewhere in the Caribbean early next year) I wont go to Phuket next time and try Samui again for a few days , get a car and just drive South and stop start.

I still love Thailand and always will  but I need to start going elsewhere again a lot more.

As for the dental assistant she took someone's teeth out for staring too much last night 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Cheers mate.

Really beautiful scenery. TFP.

Thanks Bazle. I forget at times just how blessed I am to live where I do. The Western parts of Colorado are some of the most beautiful country you'd ever want to see and I ended up here by total accident 43 years ago, and when things were a lot cheaper. 20171005_112042.thumb.jpg.e1abb36984e286a8bae32f8ca7979d81.jpg

I am in Sandakan, Borneo, for ANZAC DAY, tomorrow. Went and visited the orangutan sanctuary and Sun Bear conservation parks this morning. Unfortunately I don't know how to transfer my pictures to this tablet so can't show. The orangutan nursery was interesting, although a bit like being at a zoo. Was about a metre away from a mum and her baby whilst on the board walk which was good, although I don't think the mother was all that happy. Unfortunately I couldn't back up to a wider area for her to pass because of the people behind me so in the end she went bush. The sun bears were disappointing. Now I need to find a bar to watch the Richmond  Melbourne game at. Sandakan is not a jumping place but I will try the bar at the Four Points in town.

Lovely!

How long until (a) you get bored of the view, and (b) you are reprimanded for staring out at the view instead of working?! 😁

Good luck with the new job.

Not sure about the bandage.Knowing my missus,it won’t be thrown out that’s for sure.
