Horizondave Posted October 6, 2019 Share Posted October 6, 2019 Not long woke up after about 12 hours kip, had a bit of a blast with family and friends at the Hounslow Wetherspoon yesterday. Special was mixed grill for £7.99 but the damage was 6 pints of Old Ale, a brew from Naylors of Yorkshire and at 5.9% it left it's mark. Lovely stuff, Keighley, Yorkshire done well. So drinkable and I rarely drink so I was rather affected. Got home last night at about 7.30 pm, made a cup of tea and then felt sick which sent me to bed as I thought putting my head down would work. Woke up 12 hours later. Feel great now but won't be touching alcohol today, I also have an appointment with my cardiothoracic team tomorrow so better shape up. I will celebrate tonight with a beer and also with my wife, Porn, who I am celebrating also our 9th anniversary since we met.
