The surprising thing for me was as per the last pictures, the message being passed was that there was four minutes or so of useable oxygen in the plastic bags which people should place over their heads in a smoke filled room.  Any observations from members on the industrial side of things as to the viability of this?  Everyone came out of the smoke filled room looking happy!

I think 4 minutes is a best case scenario.  My dive training says the average guy will breathe 25 litres a minute and these bags look 50 litres if I'm being generous, so two minutes capacity.  If under stress, as they would probably be in a fire, they could easily be breathing twice as rapidly.  Air quality would be reducing as they exhaled and I don't know what that would do to longevity, so they might be better just holding the bag to their mouth to breathe in and exhaling to atmosphere.  This also gives more capacity as their head isn't in the bag taking up airspace.

its only cause of people like you that whinge to the mods.

Fact no 1 - Thai Spice has never reported anything to the moderators.

Fact no 2 - A very quick review on 'NEW CONTENT' is usually sufficient to identify most of the offensive posts.

Had a fire safety demonstration at the condo complex this morning.  Fairly low level and basic stuff, but in my view good that the condo management think about these things.  The surprising thing for me was as per the last pictures, the message being passed was that there was four minutes or so of useable oxygen in the plastic bags which people should place over their heads in a smoke filled room.  Any observations from members on the industrial side of things as to the viability of this?  Everyone came out of the smoke filled room looking happy!!

Whilst additional breathing aids can be a benefit. In my experience people waste valuable time trying to find and fit it instead of evacuating quickly. The first couple of minutes are crucial in a fire situation.

Got back from town earlier and they had a Sunday Market on, normally it is only Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. This one was all French related stalls.Had breads, (non award winning) cheeses etc. Bought some saucissons to try.

@Thai Spice would of loved it, even had French CD's and artwork.

Thanks you, at least one positive post on French since 1 year....😘😘

Dont forget some pics about the saucisson, an impossible thing to find here.

Yes mate, better stock up ! You know, with Brexit and all this stuff, French markets and food may be banned soon in the UK ! 😄😄😄

Went back and could of spent a fortune. 😄

But I restrained myself and just bought some rabbit pate and Brittany onions. By the way the saucissons were wild boar, venison and chilli.
