Yessongs
Went to this show at Impact Saturday. My buddy whom I normally go with is in Phuket, wifey is not about to miss a girls night out, so I went solo. Once again, took the skytrain link here from Minburi and caught the 15 baht shuttle over to Impact. Great show for sure, I am totally amazed at the time and money and challenge these guys take on, to make these custom cars and motorcycles. The paint, the details and everything else that is involved is outstanding. Some of these cars and motorcycles were brought in from Japan. 3 1

Glasseye
I like the two rusted VW's. Classic. For anyone who has ever been to Brazil.... There a millions of VW's there. It kind of makes you wonder how that came about, as there are a lot of Nazi's who escaped and settled in that part of the World. I like that giant blue Caddy also. Jesus H. that thing is huge. Talk about American wastefulness and over consumption. That car defines it, Jesus Christ. What year is that boat ?

It kind of makes you wonder how that came about... They've made 'em there for a long time. Germans were in Brazil and South America dating back to the 19th century. Nazis who ended up there were just a bad blip on this timeline (see article & video below). "Volkswagen do Brasil Ltda. is a subsidiary arm of Volkswagen Group, established in 1953 with local assembly of the Volkswagen Type 1, from parts imported from Germany. It produced over 20 million vehicles in Brazil having been market leader for the majority of their more-than-sixty-years in existence." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_do_Brasil . . . A lot of VWs are made in Mexico, too. "Volkswagen de México was founded in 1964 and has about 16,400 employees.[6] The first automobile manufactured by the company rolled off the production line in 1967. The VW Puebla plant is the largest employer of the city of Puebla. In the plant, the Volkswagen Beetle was built until 2003. The Puebla plant produces the following models: Jetta, Golf, Golf SportWagen and the long-wheelbased version of Tiguan." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volkswagen_de_México . . . In fact, they make 'em everywhere... Production and locations "Volkswagen produces millions of vehicles around the globe every year. In spring 2021, the Group's production network will comprise 118 locations worldwide, of which 70 plants manufacture cars - around 40,000 units per day. The Volkswagen brand is a strong base in this global network, with 49 manufacturing plants for vehicles and components..." https://www.volkswagen-newsroom.com/en/production-and-locations-3695 . . . . . . 1
Butch
Awesome pics, looks like a great turnout as well, and plenty of variety which makes for a good show IMO. Please allow me to offer my pick of the bunch and thanks to @Yessongs for taking the time to post them. Stunning. Uber cool land yacht. I would snap this up in a hearbeat, the colours really do it for me, along with the whole concept of the thing. This is great, has some "Indian Motorcycle" vibe about it, tastefully customised and a stunning colour which really works. I'm a big fan of the Air cooled single and the way it flows with the whole custom job.

The entire system that will take you AND drop you off right on front of Impact Arena will be finished July 2025....as much as we gripe about the infrastructure here, they are making progress. 22 hours ago, Pumpuynarak said: Great quality pics as usual Mike TFP, love the choppers and the gals. Yessongs
When I came across the Chevy Impala's, the ones with the hydraulics, was thinking what a blast it would be to bar fine 3-4 gals, take one of these Chevy's and take them in it, bounce it around, while driving around Asoke/Sukhumvit LOL! Would love to see the reaction of some of these gals..... 1
