Glasseye Posted June 7, 2024 Posted June 7, 2024 - Grape Nuts - Raisin Bran When I was a kid.... - Lucky Charms * - Captain Crunch * * Can't eat now as if I did I would keel over in a diabetic shock.
galenkia Posted June 7, 2024 Posted June 7, 2024 I haven’t eaten cereal for a while, usually just have a protein shake now, but I would have a Weetabix with some cornflakes and some fruit on top with almond milk.

Lirchenfeld Posted June 7, 2024 Posted June 7, 2024 Oatmeal with cold milk. Roasted oatmeal and/or nuts on yoghurt or skyr. Müsli I will only eat if i can dissect the contents thoroughly and remove every single bit of the horrible goat poop raisins

Tried Grape nuts one time only. Better used for resurfacing my driveway. 2
Lantern Posted June 7, 2024 Posted June 7, 2024 Liked Shredded Wheat for a while when much younger. Cornflakes also, great taste but not much substance.
Aqualung Posted June 8, 2024 Posted June 8, 2024 On a serious note. I used to love my cereals. Cornflakes weetabix, coco pops, etc. But my favourite was shredded wheat in warm milk. Sugar Puffs were good also but did something to my bowel movements. 1
forcebwithu Posted June 8, 2024 Posted June 8, 2024 Cereal is expensive here, but I sometimes treat myself to granola mixed with yogurt instead of milk. My favorite when I lived in the States was Basic 4. I'm going back for a visit the end of this month and it's on my shopping list of items to bring back with me to Thailand. 1

Yeah, shredded wheat is good also, but you have to get at it before it gets too soggy. Weetabix is like eating a wet sanitary napkin.

Toy Boy Posted June 10, 2024 Posted June 10, 2024 For years, I've been making my own muesli, it's much cheaper and better than the ready-packaged stuff, and it's simple to do. I add five different types of seeds to the muesli when I'm making the batch, and then a teaspoon of ground Brazil nuts, hazelnuts and pistachios, plus some walnuts or pecans to each breakfast dish. I try for at least three different types of fresh fruit on it, this one had mango, blueberries, redcurrants and raspberries. Plus Meiji full fat milk, of course. Honest, there's some rolled outs under there somewhere, lol. 1 1

Now I usually just go with raisins, yogurt and museli.
