Glasseye Posted June 21, 2024 Posted June 21, 2024 Seems like in the past when I visited I'd get it every time. One year I had it in both eyes at the same time. Dog awful.... both eyes, crusted up, and red as a Chinese stop sign. Never get it anymore. Seems like that shit comes and goes in waves. Any have a case of it lately ?

galenkia Posted June 21, 2024 Posted June 21, 2024 Never had it in Thailand but I did one time in England, you have to be really careful regarding things like towels as you can easily reinfect yourself.

Aqualung Posted June 21, 2024 Posted June 21, 2024 I've no idea what Red Eye is to be honest. The only time I've seen what I think could be Red Eye is years ago after my teerak took a well aimed shot of jizz into her eye. ( her aiming, not mine) It wasn't immediately apparent in reality but half a hour later she was messing around on the PC doing whatever and she turned around to face me and my word!!! One of her eyes was completely bloodshot. I asked her what the hell happened as I was unaware she'd received a weeks worth of gentleman's relish in her eye. Her reply "your saaaperm" What a sport she is!! 1 4
maipenrai Posted June 22, 2024 Posted June 22, 2024 I had it in one eye many years ago but as I recall it didn't bother me for long - maybe it was just some other kind of irritation. I must say I avoid public towels like the plague when I see them in Pattaya bar toilets - on my last trip I saw a guy actually dry his face on one, talk about asking for trouble.... 3
karon steve Posted June 22, 2024 Posted June 22, 2024 Years ago conjunctivitis was common just after Songkran. Annoying but easily cured by some drops from the chemist/pharmacy.

Stillearly Posted June 22, 2024 Posted June 22, 2024 "Adult inclusion conjunctivitis is known as chlamydial conjunctivitis. It is a sexually transmitted disease that occurs most commonly in sexually active young adults. The disease is usually transmitted through the hand-to-eye spread of infected genital secretions" nasty , I've caught it once ... in both eyes , very infectious
