Bazle
I looked at my travel vax history this morning, and concluded that I needed doses of 4 things to bring me up to date. I managed to get an appointment at a travel clinic in London this afternoon (needless to say, not NHS!), and learned a couple of things which might be of general interest. 1. The current thinking is that the Hepatitis A vaccine should last 25 years. Previously it was 15. 2. The current thinking is that the Hepatitis B vaccine should last for life. So I didn't need either of those, even though I thought I did. However, the journey wasn't wasted as I had Tetanus and Typhoid jabs.

When I was getting everything jabbed up for a contract in Myanmar the Doctor was surprised that I wasn't covered so I willingly accepted his suggestion that I get it done.. When I was living there I also kept my JE up to date. And Rabies. Forget Cujo, those Soi dogs are a seething cesspool of biological hazards despite their benign demeanor. Check the price of HRIG (if you can get it). Edited July 11 by fygjam
