fforest
I just wanted to put a good word in for Key Visa in Pattaya... I just got my passport renewed using them. They did every thing...Forms, mailing payments....The works....The only thing I did was supply a Photo, and give them my phone number.. Payment was 10,000 Baht...And I got my passport back in one month to the day.... I use to renew my passport when I went back to the USA and use a Express service....But Bloody hell that has gotten expensive...Its like 800 dollars after all the fees and FedX mailing costs now.... I really dislike being without my passport for a month because if there was a family emergency I would be shit out of luck...I could not go any where on a plane. Any ways Key Visa kicks ass...

Didn't even know they did US passports or I would have used them myself. I don't give two shits about the 10 grand I think I ended up paying six or seven and had to go through the hassle of running around getting copies DHL and all of that stuff it's worth it to me to have somebody else do it and sit back. I don't know if you read my story but when my passport was returned instead of coming registered mail believe it or not it was delivered by Lazada. They didn't want a signature or anything don't ask me how or why I don't know I just happy when I finally got it in my hand hoping this is the last one I'll ever have to get 2

Key Visa made getting a new passport as easy as doing a 90 day report...... That Express passport service I used in the USA wanted lots of annoying paper work plus plenty of $$$ too..... 1
ChiFlyer
I renewed my US Passport online. https://th.usembassy.gov/u-s-citizen-services/passports/adult-passport-renew/ It was painless and cheaper than 10,000 (as I recall). 1

Renewed last year. $130 fee. Took about 6 weeks. Mailed old one to Texas and the new one came back from New Hampshire. Gotta spread the government jobs around I guess. Does the US Embassy still send staff down to Pattaya on occasion for passport service?

They'll pay a visit to Pattaya in September. https://th.usembassy.gov/u-s-citizen-services/consular-outreach/
