New Qatar Q suites...

Picked up enough Skytrax awards last year for their hard product, along with Worlds best business Class.

Now they're showing off the new Q suite.

I find the Q-Suites a bit cramped compared with Oman's Apex Suites, but I do like the high sides and fully-closing door to give you complete privacy.

I have been checking out the new Air India Business Class seats (Don't laugh!!).

Since TATA have taken them over they now have "Call Centre" booths in Business Class where you can slide the door across for your own enclosed private "cubicle" ... Unfortunately they are not available on BKK flights yet ... but hopefully by next year they will be ..

I have been sitting down having a midmorning coffee and cake quietly thinking about nothing in particular other than enjoying my life here on Jollity Farm..

Then it dawned on me that we don't have a thread dedicated to Business Class Flights for discussing comparisons, Sale/Offers/, Prices and general experiences.

I have no idea if anybody agrees but if @Butch could think it over and perhaps change the thread title to cover the topic more generally.

 Personally I have no interest in splashing out 2,000 quid for Business Class "Lite" deals that suck you in with a good price (Finnair) for flights with no lounge access or no checked baggage.. That is how I ended up considering Air India Business Class with flat-bed using National Express coaches at LHR over EVA PE using Taxis ...

I agree re the Business class "lite" options being a bit cheeky. IMO if I'm paying for business class, I want the product as expected for what I'm paying, not an option to "upgrade" on an already high price point.

We've still not seen a correction in BC flight costs since Covid, so I don't expect they'll come down, ever.

There are still a few good offers out there. As I posted a few weeks ago when I booked my next BKK-LHR-BKK trip with EVA, booking 3 months or so in advance you could get a Qatar Airways Business Class flight for around £2,200. The snag was that the Doha-London legs were with BA, not Qatar. Also, the Doha-Bangkok legs were in an A380, which is a plane I love, but it doesn't have Q-Suites. All the same, that's a bargain, even if it wouldn't be my first choice, but if you want to fly BC cheaply it's still possible if you look around.
