It must be something with the rainy season (or at least this period).... But the past few days I have been blowing some serious snot. I feel perfectly normal otherwise.

Anyone else experiencing this ?

Yes, me too and if the stuff gets onto your chest it can make your breathing a bit wheezy.

Lots of covid doing the rounds again here, probably the same there.

Try some of these from the pharmacy, very cheap, around 50b a tub.Screenshot_20240801_141457_Messenger.jpg

I'd rather just blow it out. Or, do a farmers hankie.    555555

I'd like to sniff those fingers though....

I spoke to @Nightcrawler about infections during rainy season, we both agreed that for some reason there seems to e more "bugs" around and it just seems easier to fall ill with the flu or a really bad cold.

Traditionally my trips were all around rainy season and 9/10 times I'd get some kind of respiratory problem or infection, usually short term. I did load up on Vitamin C a few times and it seemed to help, but it may have been the placebo effect.

It may just be a coincidence or there may be an element of truth in it, but yep, rainy season more often than not brings out some kind of problem in me.

I find it less of an allergy and more of an actual virus / infection though.

I do think that stuff does the rounds and the amount of people you come into contact with during a journey from the UK to Thailand, the likelihood is you will be exposed to something new, or different to what your immune system has already coped with.
