I noticed a add for translating ear buds

Has any one used them ?

I'm very tempted to get a set but Ali express it's 14 days delivery and I'm sort of thinking of going back to Thailand in a few days time ( so would arrive after I depart) only need them in Thailand.would tucom have them? I I got them from lazada or shopee ( never been on their sites) how long would it take to arrive?

I bought the Timekettle T3's but find them hard to use admittedly I didn't put a lot of effort in. I really should make an effort.
I reverted back to Google translate which works well enough for me.

Never could use ear buds. They always fall out. It's a son of a bitch.

The ones I was looking at on ali express clipped around your ear like you have for cell phones

Cheers. I have trouble with anything on or in my ear. lol

I had a radio mic that sat on my shoulder for 25  years with nothing but yak yak yak. Brought me close to insanity.

They're a real pain in the arse. we switched to throat mics and 3M ear defenders which are brilliant, once you get used to the encumbrance issues. They also have passive microphones on the outside so you can hear ambient sounds but not at deafening levels. They also cut out wind noise.

Some areas at work have switched over to Hytera radios , which are fucking shit.

as for the earbuds, anyone coming out with a one way receive only instant translation system (like the babelfish on Hitch hikers guide to the Galaxy) would be onto a sure fire winner. i'm sure the idea is being developed somewhere, of not already available.

Doesn't the person that is talking to you need to have ear buds on too?

Optional. They can use one of your buds or listen to the speaker on your phone or theirs if they have the app.
