Big favour to ask of anyone coming over to Pattaya shortly . .

As some of you guys know I'm a huge Ipswich fan.

We've just launched our 3rd kit and I'd really like to order shirts for myself and my gf.

There's a couple of guys who come here on a regular basis, unfortunately not soon.

If anyone is coming soon and would do me a huge favour and allow me to ship them to you in the UK to bring with you, there's a few cold beers waiting for you in Jomtien.

The club won't ship to Thailand.

Here's hoping . . . 🤞

Couldn't they post it over to you??

No mate, they won't ship to Thailand, only certain countries, primarily European. All to do with fake shirts, which these obviously won't be, so real ones can get nicked as it passes through the wonderful Thai customs system . . 🤣

Dave, you will have to make do with this. It's much nicer I reckon.

And there was me thinking you were a mate Steve . .

What a piece of shit that is. But then again, we're sailing way above the Budgies now, so who cares? 🤣

It's the drunk chef - Let's be 'avin yer . . 🤣

I will be over last week in August but going straight up to the jungle. Guess I could ship them to you from Udon if you are desperate….

That's really kind of you, thanks.

I think I've figured a way to do it if no-one is coming shortly . .

What do you call soon ?

I'm arriving at the end of September and I wouldn't have a problem bringing them for you if you could wait that long ?

Many thanks. If you'd be good enough to allow me to keep you in reserve if nothing pans out sooner?

Thanks. Got the top one, which is this new season's away shirt. But these are fakes, don't have the official Prem badge on the right sleeve . .

Never seen that bottom one before. That's not an official shirt.

As usual I was too fast on the buzzer .. I meant getting it sent to a BM and THEY post it over to you ...

Ah, right  . . yes, in effect that's my plan b. My son will receive them on Monday, he'll get them couriered. Hopefully they don't get stopped or questioned in customs. I've told him to just put "Sports shirts" on the packaging. It'll be small and light, so hopefully won't cause any questions . . 🤞

If you buy that bloke that scored for Blackburn last night you'll be staying up that's for sure!

Good Luck ...

Mate, I could write a book on the Smodicz "transfer".

I'm actually involved with the club, have been for years, so I get to know the inside tracks, who we're after, etc.

Can't say too much obviously, but let's just say the Blackburn owners aren't the easiest to deal with. Totally unrealistic valuation for a player who is 29 in September. While he was top scorer in the Championship last season he's never kicked a ball in the Prem. Huge over-valuation and not sure the gap in what we feel he's worth will close enough to make this happen.

Smodicz is a total pro though. He wants to come, he's from the Ipswich area as are his family. He's desperate to come in fact . .

I'll look into that . . .

Do you ever have any customs problems?

Oooooh you've got me there ...About 10 days on average as we just use the cheapest track and trace so times vary between 7 days to 2 weeks...Obviously there are much faster ways but it is more expensive and cost is by weight ...

Time isn't important to me as I order before I run out ... (Thanks for reminding me to check my stock!!!!)
