Techie question - "See when and where you've used your account"

I've just looked at this page for my Microsoft account, not something I've done in a long while (if ever!).

I'm horrified to see that people are trying to sign in to my account several times a day, every day, from all around the world. Someone in Germany even tried to synchronise my account.

Could someone who knows about these things please tell me if this is usual, i.e. would everyone find the same if they checked?

Here are just two screen shots to illustrate what I mean

TIA

Never had a look before, so I just tried and got this message!  I'll have to investigate this later.

Sign-in is blocked
You've tried to sign in too many times with an incorrect account or password.

I have had spells of it in the past on my email account I use for forums and other non personal stuff.

The above blocked message was very common for me for a while.

Not had it for some time, now, so I guess my email has been sold on and tested to exhaustion.

The good thing is that you have a strong password that isn't easily guessed.

Yep, I've had these messages before as well.

My password is an old UK car registration plate along with four different symbols (for info, I use sequential ones off the numbers on my keyboard to avoid faff) followed by a name, each account having a different name so I can remember the initial sequence (Giles for google, Harry for hotmail etc).

I think hackers just try to brute force accounts with the old "password123" attempt along with a few other easy ones, then move on to the next.
