Well.. you have jumped in straight away with Nightlife ... Howz about getting here first.

4D3N - You really don't want to be fannying about with busses just to save a few quid on your first trip. Many YTers will give you advice on how to do it but they are really just telling you how much they know rather than what YOU need to know. Investigate Nam's Taxi and Mr T Taxi plus whatever recommendations you get on here..

4D3N - Where you stay will be crucial. Don't book a cheap place then waste a day looking around. Book a good hotel for 3 nights before you get here. Where you choose to stay will depend on what "Nightlife" you want. This is where YTers excel .. "Everything Pattaya" and "Reds" are probably the best for hotels. Then ask on here.

Nightlife - For some daytime is better than night time so don't restrict yourself from the off. What to you want girls, LBs or boys? How much do you drink, a lot, a little or not at all? 

For GCs I'd suggest the thread by @forcebwithu

Hi Richard and welcome to the forum.

First of all, you need to get an idea of orientation of Pattaya itself, in comparison to where you're actually staying via google maps. That way you can plan your route around the "baht bus" routes in the city. If you have the "BOLT" app in Singapore then it'll work in Pattaya and is the easiest method of transport - and can be paid in cash.

Entertainment  - depend upon what you're looking for, budget, time frame and adaptability all come into play here.

Questions we need to know so as best to advise you are as follows:

Do you want female company during your trip? if so, do you want overnight, "short time", daytime or evening?. Does your Hotel allow overnight guests without charge (tell us the name and we can easily advise if it does or does not).

Budget - Rough idea of your daily budget and how you've allocated it thus far, and how much you wish to allocate for the above if needed.

Personal preferences - Nightclubs, dance music, or Music bars, GoGo bars, Beer bars or everything in between?. Do you prefer "people watching" or sitting in a nice A/C Bar that serves decent food, or sitting in a sports bar with a pool table and girls there who'll give you a few games and also will accompany you for fun outside the bar?.

There are a few areas of entertainment in Pattaya for the evening as follows:

Walking Street - Expensive on the main drag which is very much tourist orientated with prices to match. home to expensive GoGo bars with expensive girls asking up to 2000 baht barfine (price to take them from the bar) and in addition 3000 baht Short time (up to 2 / 3 hours" and over 5000 baht long time if they even go long time, as many do not). Side streets (sois) off Walking Street (referred hereon as "WS") have some decent GoGo bars and very good pubs, notably"le Pub" owned and run by resident BM here, Mr Egg (see business section).

LK Metro - a "dog leg" soi which needs you to cross Second Road ad walk down Soi Diana, or take a 40 baht BOLT bike from WS or even a motorcycle Taxi for a bit more (guys in orange vests at the end of most streets). Several cheaper GoGo bars with numerous very cheap Beer Bars and live music venues. Adjacent to Soi Bukhao which also has beer bars and music venues.

Treetown - within walking distance of LK Metro and lies between second road and Bukhao. home to numerous cheap beer bars, a few music venues, several food places and coffee shops. Ideal area for the newbie with girls working everywhere.

Soi Chaiyapoon AKA Soi Pothole - Great soi which is close to Soi LK Metro (remember the orientation I told you about?) Beer bars and Gentlemen's clubs all the way up both sides of the Soi which leads onto Third Road.

Soi boomerang - Again, walking distance between Soi LK Metro, Treetown and Chaiyapoon or a very easy 10 baht bus ride down the road. Several "gentlemen's clubs" which don't open until after 6 /7 pm with numerous girls, most available but prices are high.

Soi 6 - Afternoon fun from approx 3pm onwards, I think you've seen all the videos. Easy to get to on the baht bus route on second road, but my advice is to get a motorcycle taxi. Hundreds of girls, numerous bars and mostly fixed pricing for short time afternoon fun.

Soi 7 - If you've seen NDTVi Pattaya, nick Dean has a couple or more bars up this street, but unless you want to visit those specific bars, it might not be worth the effort.

Myth Night - New beer bar complex on Second Road which, if you walk through leads you to the street running adjacent to rear of treetown. Several sparsely populated bars but worth a look, even if only on the way through to Treetown and the nearby Sois.

Las Vegas Beer Bar complex - Relatively new Beer bar complex opposite the Soi Diana entrance to LK Metro. If loud music is your thing, give it a look, or don't.

My recommendations:

Skyfall A GoGo for eye candy and seeing some of the top earning girls in Pattaya. Avoid lady drinks and paying barfines, unless you're rich like I'm not.

Sensations A GoGo - for the same as above.

Soi diamond - Windmill A GoGo - to see the naughtier side of things.

Treetown:

Beer Hubb for Indian food and expensive drinks, but air con and they serve Hoegaarden on tap in big glasses.

Basilisk Bar, located on the corner of Treetown and Soi Skaw Beach, ideal for people watching and a decent band.

LK Metro

Jibbys - Air con beer bar with good girls, no hassle to buy drinks and reasonably priced alcohol.

Billabong Bar - 2 for 1 beers all night, reasonable selection of girls depending upon your standards. Loud local band which is shit, but ok for early evening drinking and a good place to arrange a meeting with someone as everyone knows where it is.

the GoGo bars are all similar. Sugar Sugar at the end of LK Metro (Bukhao end) is OK, a few fatties in there but one or two decent ones. Lady Love is OK as well. YMMV on that.

Soi Chaiyapoon

Buzzin Bar owned by Trevor of Buzzing Pattaya is a good bar with a good pool table and good girls, but questions regarding his integrity mean I won't step foot in there, but if that doesn't bother you, then it's OK.

Dive Bar as well is very good, Air con and great staff, a couple of ex Airport A GoGo girls working there (Sofia and Nok)

Maggie Mays opposite Buzzin bar is good if you want a blowjob in the afternoon, but bear in mind your won't be the first or last penis that she's had in her mouth in the last hour. Good idea not to kiss any of the girls, even on the hand.

Good effort Butch. I'm going to save that. No criticism, but I think TQ deserves a mention on its own. In a similar vein to all should at least go by the mothership Nana Hotel in Bangkok, all Pattaya visitors should drop by TQ, and maybe Pattaya Beer Garden.

10,000 includes every thing.....Bar fine, LT girls fee, a number of rounds of drinks for you and her, a few drinks for her bar " sisters" lol.... and tips.... etc... bla bla...

Welcome to the forum mate !

 

 

++++ always, and I mean always when you are walking the sois, main roads and crossing any type of intersection be on complete focus. No phone in your hand, no ass watching (while in motion). Expect the unexpected and rudeness stupidity from others when walking. Sensible rules of the road do not apply. ALWAYS look both ways when crossing and pause until you have a clear path of vision. All sois, places of businesses, etc. are uneven. When in motion focus on getting to your next destination safely.

The Pattaya Police did crack down and arrest 20 or so of them recently, but many hotels will make you sign a disclaimer as these women don't have ID's or work permits.

Thus, if you think you're taking a risk with a Thai Beach road freelancer, you can multiply that risk by a few factors if you engage with a Non Thai.

I will report about my experiences.

 

I can only say good things about my previous trips to Thailand in Bangkok and Phuket and Koh Samui 

 

I booked bar girls, freelancers there and also met twice for sex but without payment 

 

It is always advisable to keep your own safety in mind, be vigilant and adhere to the local rules.

I do like some variety in my mongering and have taken many black and other ethnic women off the street in Pattaya and BKK both and have not had any problems, and haven't had any problems with the Thais that I have taken either but maybe I am just lucky; however, I do agree with Nightcrawler's advice about agreeing for price up front and if  they are black or ethnic, they must have their passport with them for the hotel.  Any new girl I take to my room always gets sent to the shower first so I can stash my valuables, I've done this since day one. Another good practice to follow is never take more than one freelancer at a time - it's hard enough to keep your eye on one, let alone two.

Walking Street - Expensive on the main drag which is very much tourist orientated with prices to match. home to expensive GoGo bars with expensive girls asking up to 2000 baht barfine (price to take them from the bar) and in addition 3000 baht Short time (up to 2 / 3 hours" and over 5000 baht long time if they even go long time, as many do not). Side streets (sois) off Walking Street (referred hereon as "WS") have some decent GoGo bars and very good pubs, notably"le Pub" owned and run by resident BM here, Mr Egg (see business section).

LK Metro - a "dog leg" soi which needs you to cross Second Road ad walk down Soi Diana, or take a 40 baht BOLT bike from WS or even a motorcycle Taxi for a bit more (guys in orange vests at the end of most streets). Several cheaper GoGo bars with numerous very cheap Beer Bars and live music venues. Adjacent to Soi Bukhao which also has beer bars and music venues.

Treetown - within walking distance of LK Metro and lies between second road and Bukhao. home to numerous cheap beer bars, a few music venues, several food places and coffee shops. Ideal area for the newbie with girls working everywhere.

Soi Chaiyapoon AKA Soi Pothole - Great soi which is close to Soi LK Metro (remember the orientation I told you about?) Beer bars and Gentlemen's clubs all the way up both sides of the Soi which leads onto Third Road.

Soi boomerang - Again, walking distance between Soi LK Metro, Treetown and Chaiyapoon or a very easy 10 baht bus ride down the road. Several "gentlemen's clubs" which don't open until after 6 /7 pm with numerous girls, most available but prices are high.

Soi 6 - Afternoon fun from approx 3pm onwards, I think you've seen all the videos. Easy to get to on the baht bus route on second road, but my advice is to get a motorcycle taxi. Hundreds of girls, numerous bars and mostly fixed pricing for short time afternoon fun.

Soi 7 - If you've seen NDTVi Pattaya, nick Dean has a couple or more bars up this street, but unless you want to visit those specific bars, it might not be worth the effort.

Myth Night - New beer bar complex on Second Road which, if you walk through leads you to the street running adjacent to rear of treetown. Several sparsely populated bars but worth a look, even if only on the way through to Treetown and the nearby Sois.

Las Vegas Beer Bar complex - Relatively new Beer bar complex opposite the Soi Diana entrance to LK Metro. If loud music is your thing, give it a look, or don't.

My recommendations:

Walking Street:

Skyfall A GoGo for eye candy and seeing some of the top earning girls in Pattaya. Avoid lady drinks and paying barfines, unless you're rich like I'm not.

Sensations A GoGo - for the same as above.

Soi diamond - Windmill A GoGo - to see the naughtier side of things.

Treetown:

Beer Hubb for Indian food and expensive drinks, but air con and they serve Hoegaarden on tap in big glasses.

Basilisk Bar, located on the corner of Treetown and Soi Skaw Beach, ideal for people watching and a decent band.

LK Metro

Jibbys - Air con beer bar with good girls, no hassle to buy drinks and reasonably priced alcohol.

Billabong Bar - 2 for 1 beers all night, reasonable selection of girls depending upon your standards. Loud local band which is shit, but ok for early evening drinking and a good place to arrange a meeting with someone as everyone knows where it is.

the GoGo bars are all similar. Sugar Sugar at the end of LK Metro (Bukhao end) is OK, a few fatties in there but one or two decent ones. Lady Love is OK as well. YMMV on that.

Soi Chaiyapoon

Buzzin Bar owned by Trevor of Buzzing Pattaya is a good bar with a good pool table and good girls, but questions regarding his integrity mean I won't step foot in there, but if that doesn't bother you, then it's OK.
