When It Rains It Pours

Funny (but not) since we were recently discussing related.

My lappie just went on the blink. I'm pretty sure the battery is toast.

I'm not going to waste the time to take it to a shop and they tell me what I already am sure about (been there done that).

I want to wait until I return home before I shell out the dough for a new good one. But, I'd like to find an inexpensive used one to hold me over until I get back.

So.... I am looking for recommedations where I might be able to go in Patts to maybe buy a reasonable/inexpensive used one today, without getting reamed too bad.

Any recomendations ?

Soi 7 to the rescue ?

As usual with PC's, Pattaya2U is probably the best answer. They don't charge if they can't fix the problem, and you might have to pay extra but if you explain to the boss that you want an expensive genuine battery and not a cheap knock-off I'm sure he'll provide you with one. I'd suggest you check the price of a new battery on Amazon so you'll know roughly what you should be paying. They also usually have some second-hand laptops for sale but the stock and price obviously varies.

Big thanks for your response. It just came back to life just now.

I'm going to see how long it lasts.
