I tried it twice the first time far too salty for me but I believe in second chances because other than the Salt taste and the chicken itself were okay. The second time same same prefer KFC

Well their spicy chicken has loads of MSG

And their non spicy chicken has NO MSG.....

Being a MSG avoider.......This is great for me...

Natural Glutamate does not bother me much unless its highly concentrated like in that horrible uk spread Marmite...

I cook with MSG but I use limited amounts some of the Fried Chicken vendors on the street they load their batter up with that stuff that's all you taste I have no problem with it in very very slight moderation

Let me make this simple....

Natural Glutamates are in many natural foods..They dont bother most people unless they are highly concentrated.....

 

There is a Secondary processed food  state with names like soy protein isolate, natural extract, natural flavor  bla bla about 20 different names ......This processing is getting close to being MSG but it not quite there yet.....But it still can be nasty stuff for many people...

 

And then there is the full Frankenstein Glutamate called MSG which can wreck havoc with peoples brains and bodys especially if MSG is taken in larger doses....

 

The truth of how all this  works is simple......But Invested interest want it all to be very complex and confusing...

I will miss that restaurant .  I usually went there once a week for the 3 piece Chicken Tenders meal combo. 99 Baht. Very tasty in my opinion.

There are a couple of fried chicken cart ladies (two separate carts, but I think they are working togehter), one of them is very cute and friendly. 

They lately have been ending up at the end of Soi 13 (across from Macs, on the bar side) around 3-4 pm, most days. 

Best fried chicken I think I have ever had in Patts. Always fresh, good selection, properly cooked, cheap and tasty. 

I hope they are still  around the next time I get back to Patts.
