Butch
I Watched a Dave Strachan vlog last night, one of the few decent vloggers in town, he said it's possibly the quietest he's seen it in ages, although he was referring specifically to the Las Vegas complex, he did suggest it was the state of town at the moment. (displayed as a link) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hcVl7m9PSLc Soi 6 looks pretty awesome though. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WFutMuJ7HHg I must say I'm not surprised, apart from being low season anyway, flight prices and increased costs are certainly starting to bite it seems. 3
boydeste
It is still low season, generally picks up from October onwards until a week or so after NY.

I found it much quieter than usual when I was there in April. Still plenty of bars with no customers. You're right though, once Halloween and Loy Kratong are on the horizon it gets busier. It'll be interesting to see how busy this years "peak season" is. I've always enjoyed Halloween in Pattaya, it's a good vibe and the girls seem to get into the spirit of things, pardon the pun.

It was interesting to see the observations made by Dave when girls outnumber customers to a bigger ratio than usual.

I like it less crowded in Pattaya. Last year November I was in Pattaya during some kind of festival. Lots of fireworks on the Beach. Dudes, traffic jams everywhere. Imagine riding a motosai being easy transportation, only to find out that even the motorcycles were stuck in the streets. Walking? Forget that! My lady and I made it to BR, which was full of people. A quiet Pattaya is better for "walkers" like me. Besides, more visitors does not (necessary) mean more customers for, especially, shops like the Agogo's. 1
