Swampy to Pattaya?

Got a mate who's staying in a hotel near Swampy & wants to go to Pattaya.

What are his options....bus or taxi?

What's the going rate for a taxi?

I'm a bit out of date on this as I'm usually going the other way in our pickup.

Bus 140 bht or something leaves every 15 minutes or something, taxi around 1200.

Take the Rueng Rang bus from the lower floor at swampy. 143 bant/seat, but two seats. (stand is located near the Thais food court) lower level. can't beat it.

Stops on 3rd rd. or Jomtien. catach a Grab to the hotel room. cheap and easy. Just don;t punch out any loud Indians.

I thought the RR bus from the airport went down Sukhumvit. It used to then stop at Pattaya Nua, Klang and South roads then go to Jomtien. I don't recall it going down 3rd road!

Yes... you are correct. Makes 3 stops.

I started to buy 2 seats as those seats are tighter than a nuns bung hole.
