Cheers mate. I went with the cheap stuff, Red. But it was good enough for me. Then I switched to Dewars. 

Haven't had a good glass of Scotch for years. Lovely stuff. Although, nothing like a nice cup of Macallan.

It’s good that it hasn’t affected you in any way in later life.

For some it could impair their ability to read posts before they quote them and then comment…..👀😬😁

JW Black used to be the weapon of choice for many a mamasan back in the day. I recall going out with Jod from Happy / Dollhouse / Lipstick / The Sea a few times and being presented with a bill for the best part of half a bottle. Damn she could drink.

I'm more of a bourbon man than Whiskey.

Also, getting back to the OP, I remember listening to him on BBCGLR and later Radio 1.
