Popular Post Jambo
On Halloween night we did a family visit to Mae Sot's new and very large restaurant/Nightclub/live music venue named "Safehouse." Our party ensured that substantial inroads were made into the very impressive menu. Everybody ordered at least one (or three !) main course and as is the Thai way the various dishes were sampled by many. So my Sea bass in sweet & sour sauce received just two entries of my fork before it went on its travels but I did do serious damage to a dish of crispy belly pork and several others. 🤣 We arrived early when it was still light. That is Sai's sister "Well" in the photo. The "Safehouse" We sat on the outside terrace which overlooked a large lake. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture. Our group photo minus sister Joy! Dad and Joy I should have taken more photo's of the food. There was a lot to enjoy. That was my Sea Bass which I did not see for long My drinking habits on the night were somewhat unusual. As the perceived host it seemed I qualified for a complimentary "Halloween" cocktail so I decided to make some inroads into their "Del Boy" cocktail menu. I kept looking round for "Trig" to appear. 😄 The above photo came out twice but one reflection it looks much better but I don't think Sai's Mum is not too impressed with my drinks orders.🤣 It was a good night except a pity we could not stay for the live music (rock group) which started later in the evening and transformed the venue into a nightclub. Maybe Sai and I will return next week. 10 2

forcebwithu
When I saw the topic title it triggered good memories of Milwaukee's version of the Safehouse.

Is that one of those venues where you check in your fire arms on entry? 🤣
