My first record player was a Dansette Major which cost me £19 bought using my Xmas tips from my morning paper round.

More than 30 years later I took my two daughters to a Museum in Edinburgh and in the "Technology through the ages" display there was my exact Dansette Major record player.

I still have a Commodore 64 with cassette recorder and games.

My brother recently sold his house and on the wall in the kitchen was a working rotary phone from the 70's.

We could never get rid of it as when it was initially fitted it was then tiled around.
