When I go over I take a bolt taxi or a grab it's very cheap less than a couple hundred but I always feel it's worth it cuz I like it that much. Wherever you end up let us know how it was.

I'm not a creature of the dark side. But i do go to Planet Football, Taco House and a couple of other nearby places and it isn't a big driving drama. Suggest you give it a go.

I am not a fan of Tex-Mex. I prefer Baja Mex. Still I went to the Taco House a few times with some friends and it was pretty good. Google Maps should get you there without any drama. Also worth a try out that way was Rt. 66. I think they offer a little Tex-Mex as well.

The only Baja-Mex that I ever found in Pattaya was Taco Taco. Sadly the owner sold the place a few years back and I have read that it has gone down hill noticeably.

That guy who does the YT vides (forgot his name, he is always doing pieces about his motorbikes) did a vid on Rt. 66. Looked pretty dang good for ribs.

Good shout guys, had some nice food.

I have begun a search for a can of refried beans to go with my next taco binge.    😋

DD.... I will pass on your homemade mason jar version. Probably a bit too lumpy for me.       5555

Villa Market has this some times....They are just ok...

But I bought a pressure cooker...So cooking beans at home is easy now....Beans take ages to cook in a regular pot...

Lazada has several brands available. I have bought there and they were ok.

Thanks.

Yeah... beans take a long time. But I like to do a lot of "slow cook" stuff anyway.

I wore out my moms old crock pot recently. So I did a batch of chili in a good quality pot (very low temp) and they came out well. Just have to soak the beans (peas, lentils, whatever...) before stewing.

I just thought of this.... time to make a new batch. I think this time I will do a big batch of black beans with hamhocks. I think the key to good bean cooking is adding some stock to it rather than just plain water.

@Glasseye - no offense intended, but occasionally I am not completely sure what you are talking about. 🙂

Binned = stopped using/got rid of.

TEMU = a different shopping website.

lol

TEMU is a website for selling shit. Kind of like Lazada.

"Binned" means throw it in the bin (garbage, trash, waste can...)
