Who else regularly visits 7eleven just to see new stuff in the microwavable section?

To be honest, I have never bought or eaten anything from the microwave section, but thank God for 7/11 and Family Mart

I used to pack shampoo and hair products, shower gel, shaving cream, deodorant etc. Now I just go visit 7/11 after arrival and buy all this stuff and works out cheaper or as cheap as it would back home

I can even buy a bottle of Kulov vodka to keep in my room at a good price

I regularly buy snacks there to keep in my hotel room. I will take a look at their new microwave stuff when next in town.  Thanks for the heads up

Never had any microwave food, but eaten plenty of ham and cheese toasted sarnies.

The snacks used to get a hammering too, especially if I had company with me.

Thinking about it, my company must of had microwave stuff at my expense.  Lol.

It's the crisps that do it for me, never have a seen more madder flavours, stuff like lobster eggs in spicy garlic sauce or similar lol.png

I love crisps as well, my downfall. I don't really eat cake of sweet things, apart from say a nice homemade coffee cake.

But i could eat crisps none stop, and all the mental flavours in 7/11 has me buying them to try!

I've almost always got something in the fridge from there.  Chicken Tikka Masala with Tumeric Rice has been a long term favourite and several pasta dishes.  Quick and easy meals.

I have had plenty of meals from 7/11, many to take home for heating later. I also love the cheese and ham sarnies, upset if they are short on options.

When driving large distances, I need to ensure my stomach does not get upset, a cheese and ham sarnie never disappoints.

I think 7/11s are great for those small needs.

I go in there every few days to buy both Vit D whole milk and the chocolate milk as well as some juices. But those toasty sandwiches are fantastic as a late night snack. I'll grab 2 of them, have the lady toast them up, and along with maybe a couple of sweet cakes off the shelf, I'm good to go.

I also just bring a minimum of toiletries when packing as once I arrive, I'll stop in the closest 7-11 or Family Mart, to get whatever I need to last for however long my trip is.

But why do they all lift the lid to check on the toastie every 15 seconds?  Just leave it alone for the time it takes.

Yes. That one is good as are many others. Always works in a pinch and especially when you are staying in a place that does not have much in the way of kitchen stuff.

When I stay in HH there is a 7/11 almost directly across the road from me. Over a few days the bin will be full of those plastic containers.... along with OJ cartons Diet Coke bottles and Chang cans.

Another nice snack they do, which i often have when on my motorbike trips, is packs of 2 x boiled eggs.

Red and blue packs, red being hard boiled and blue being soft boiled.

!7bt a pack if i remember correctly....

Had a quick lunch today, bought a spicy pork burger from 7/11 but its sticky rice its sandwiched between not bread, then ate the mango and rice from last nights market, the closest 7/11 is quite far from where i live[well 5 minutes on scooter],theres a lot of empty ground around so im always hoping they build one closer to the apartments.

They are a big + to have. I almost always check maps to see if there is one nearby when booking a new place.

My first stop after checking in for mouth wash, etc. Also stock the fridge with diet coke OJ, and Chang... must haves. Usually a small bottle of Sangsom as well.... and oh, paper towels (I always need a roll of those within arms reach).
