I don't think so as I don't recognize the area, nor the background.

Looked again at the drone video of Lala Lake and not seeing anything recognizable in JL's pic. In particular his snap includes two wheeled structures in the background that look to be used to either lift water retention gates or filters for storm water drains. I don't see anything like that in the Lala Lake area.

If i remember correct the park next to the Naklua fish market/harbour has that blue pavement. Not sure about the paper lanterns though.

(I have never been there, just seen a photo of it before)

Is the building with the white trim in the background  of the photo below the same one on the ride side of your pic?

Yes, you are in the right area.  I will check again as the displayed item was part of the decor for a concert on 25/12/24 if I remember correctly.
