Yes.... I remember MickJ. Met him once if I recall.

RIP Nick

Sorry about your loss Larry.

It's gonna start kicking our asses soon. Like I said recently - They're going to start droppin like flies.

But, as a good friend recently reminded me.... "There ain't shit we can do about."  Which is true.

But it doesn't make the pain go away.

I have a vague memory that he once posted a photo which his wife had taken of him after he had fallen a sleep on the loo.

Yep that's him

I remember him from the shhh forum. Seemed to have a great sense of humour.

Was it Mick who fancied Pancake?

Not the food BTW!

Yeah I remember his pictures of pancake.😀

Come across as a really nice guy.

RIP Mick

Never met him but was maybe my favourite poster on Secrets….Even tried to give me a bit of fatherly advice in my first mongering days, played the shrink, but minus the $150/hour….Top man , never heard anyone say different

Too bad RIP Mick

@Yesitisdakid What year was it Larry? My first trip and posting days were in 2008-09, and this forum started the same time Secrets really went downhill in 2018 ….I remember you or someone else posting it, but I’d say was way before the pandemic , on Shhh, but my memory is not what it once was either …..

Whatever, was a while back and because of his health he was not heard from for a while. Damn he was funny….

I believe around 2019 I didn't know he was coming to town his last trip he went in to Secrets to see me and I wasn't there. One of the bartenders Lee told him I was over to baby dolls and had been for a few years as we had lost touch. He came over to see me despite barely being able to walk we had a great laugh talking about old times. I was told by Lee later that she got her asshole ripped open for telling him where he could find me. Sad really

Met him briefly in Secrets, he was with his son I seem to recall.

Too many years ago to remember when but he came across in person, very much like his online persona- a real character.

Ain't that the truth!

Through my years of working/association with Secrets I met so many friendly, amusing and interesting individuals such as Mick. You see such people at their best because most were having a great time and determined to make the most of their Thailand trips.

In more recent times too many have sadly left us for good but we remember them fondly from time to time. My departed golfing buddies, Bruce and Callum. Who could forget Bruce getting a BJ from his caddy when we had a 15 minute break for a downpour at Burapha.

The only common factor seems to be the overwhelming majority were younger than me!

Yep.

If I didn't know better I would have thought wtf regarding getting a bj from a caddy. But, I have known a couple of hotties over the years who were considering applying for a caddy job.

I reckon more than just a hole in one at many of these courses.

I seriously began to experience physical issues this past year (66). A big part of managing things is recognizing and accepting the process. There is only so much we can do.
