Things are pretty much the same as day #1........

Exactly next month is when people are supposed to file and now they're saying they don't know exactly what's going to take place who's going to file what's going to be fileable. I suspected this when they first said that we would have to file too many organizations having to work together to make it right. The banks the revenue department immigration and here in Thailand I don't see it working

I have followed this from the first day...And the whole subject is VERY VERY COMPLEX  and complicated when you really look into it..... I only understand some of it at best......

No way in hell Somchi tax man has any chance at all to make sense of 60 DTA tax treaty's.........NO way ever....Or understand the tax laws in over 100 countries.....Bla bla there is loads to understand.........

And the expat tax payoff would be tiny......Almost nothing really......After all the loopholes and deductions.....

And the Thais HATE HATE working for no pay day.....

The Thais can smell a empty payday a mile away.....

So I think they have ZERO interest in taxing expats...They have ZERO motivation to carry on with this tax...

The whole change in the law has been engineered so that they can tax extremely rich Thais that have off shore accounts.

Nothing to do with taxing farangs that have retired, but the usual scare mongers will always do their work to earn clicks and subscribers because it's their only way of making money methinks!
