Horizondave Posted May 7 Posted May 7 Yes, we should all be worried about our European flights to Thailand if it escalates. Presently it is only the very northern border region which is a small area and probably won't see much of a detour but, yes, it will add time to the journey, especially if the conflict spreads to other parts. When I go to the Philippines, I will be heading to Jeddah and across the southern tip of India, so hope not inconvenienced, but you never know what will happen within months. 2
KWA Posted May 8 Posted May 8 Reports yesterday said it was the whole country's airspace but I do still see a few overflying . 1 1
Krapow Posted May 8 Posted May 8 (edited) I saw an enlightened comment from a Pakistani gentleman on the Thai Air facebook page, demanding to know why Thai Air were not cancelling all flights to India as well as the Flights they had just posted were cancelled to Pakistan. I was tempted to write it's clearly favouritism for Indians, and discrimination about Pakistani people, and absolutely nothing to do with India being much bigger, and most if not all flights not impacted ..........................but i was scared of escalating the conflict.
