I brought a selection of noodles as a gift for my family back in the States on my last trip back. It proved to be a popular and well received gift. The freeze dried durian less so. :default_biggrin:

I don't eat noodles often, but if I do, it will be a Pad Thai in Thailand, which has so much else in it. Now I do eat carbonara, but usually with tagliatelle or linguine.

I never think of ordering bowls of noodles in liquid like a soup style although I did try Pho Bo in Hanoi. It's ok but not something I would order through choice.

My daughter likes these Korean foods called Buldak, and I must admit their carbonara flavour is pretty spot on. They are pretty thick noodles, quite expensive to buy in UK.
