He is not big into going out so is pretty useless as a guide around here. Anyone recommend a hot spot or chill location for a recently divorced lad to have a lovely night around here OR Would you recommend taking a trip down south for a few days? Would love to hear you thoughts :)

I was there so long that I had a GF and a regular stable of ladies for decent taxi fare $$$, and this was before the smartphone age, which radically changed the game. Always heard the hottest ladies are at the karaoke joints, I’m sure that is still true, but even a decade ago I heard rumours of asking rates close to 10K, extortion , etc….There was a huge one near the river just NE of the moat that was more reasonable , 60+ ladies, best bang for the $$$ But it’s still Thailand, even if the nightlife isn’t amazing, many diamonds in the rough, whether at the beer bars or especially the massage shops, had lots of fun in those. Totally different ballgame if you’re there long-term, which I was. If you want to have a heap of instant fun without effort, maybe that trip South is better 1

My experience in the massage places has been okay and its good to be validated. I'm looking for more so maybe i'll dig a little deeper 🙂

Sounds like you have has several lifetimes of adventure out here. Also sounds like i need to get around and down south for more fun! 1

I'll check our the bars thread for suggestions and also thanks for all the thoughts. Always open to more ideas about what you can get up to up country!

Long story short, staying with a Mate after a breakup, he has kindly offered me freelance work at the school he works at. Just keen to get wild after 15 years of living square. 1

In that case, I would fly down to Hua Hin for a while and enjoy what's on offer, then take the bus to Pattaya and that will probably blow your mind as long as you have a reasonable amount of money to spend. Pattaya is the ultimate place to enjoy female company, but the lower key places like HH can be fun too. 1

I've booked my time off and im going to travel for 4 days and spend some time and of course $$. Stories to come of the adventure. 2

If you only have 4 days, then go straight to Pattaya, stay in the central area so you can walk to most places and be close to the Baht bus loop. 1
