Had the fish and chips. 74000Rph, same as 150baht. A small Bintang at the beach was 35000Rph, same as 75baht. These are the cheaper places same as LK Metro or Soi Bukhao which is fine by me. 3 2
andycoll Posted June 1, 2025 Author Posted June 1, 2025 They also park a truck here for the dozers to put the rubbish. 2
andycoll Posted June 1, 2025 Author Posted June 1, 2025 Random shots from the morning walks. The beach gets wider the further north you go. 4
andycoll Posted June 1, 2025 Author Posted June 1, 2025 The beer is 33000rph, the coconut is 33000rph. I don't know what the girl costs. 5
andycoll Posted June 2, 2025 Author Posted June 2, 2025 I moved to Sanur yesterday and am staying here. 3
andycoll Posted June 2, 2025 Author Posted June 2, 2025 The beach is average at low tide and almost non existent at high tide. 5

andycoll Posted June 2, 2025 Author Posted June 2, 2025 A couple from the morning walk. Those pylons in the distance mark a reef line which keeps the water fairly calm. 5
Yessongs Posted June 3, 2025 Posted June 3, 2025 Nice pics..wifey and I leave for Bali on July 24th for 5 days....she booked the trip and took care of all the details...not sure where all we are staying etc. 4
andycoll Posted June 4, 2025 Author Posted June 4, 2025 As mentioned yesterday that reef off the beach keeps the water fairly calm. Yet there are still places renting surfboards. I think I found the answer today. 1 1
andycoll Posted June 6, 2025 Author Posted June 6, 2025 Yesterday I moved a few kilometers further north but still in Sanur. Big mistake. I went for my morning walk today and at 7am it was chaotic on the beach path. Walkers, joggers, runners, dawdlers, children, dogs and cyclists all over the place. There is a 24 hour gym about 100 meters away. I think I will use that tomorrow. 5 1
andycoll Posted June 6, 2025 Author Posted June 6, 2025 Across the road from my hotel is the Icon Ball mall. You get a good view of the water from it. The reef is a lot closer to shore here. 4
andycoll Posted June 6, 2025 Author Posted June 6, 2025 Also they have a Bubba Gumps which I will try tomorrow or Sunday if I am still here. 2 1
andycoll Posted June 7, 2025 Author Posted June 7, 2025 Decided to lash out and eat stuff Bubba Gumps for dinner. 2 1
