Is on 27-29 June anyone going?

It's at Lewis Cubitt Square, which looks to me to be closer to St Pancras but I guess that doesn't have the same ring to it.

Went last year, was packed, too packed, though I know this year is in slightly different area in King's Cross.

Might go again on the Sunday afternoon.

Is that the festival where all the ladyboys pull their cocks out and cross them ?

As things stand I'm meeting @nadia at the beer stand Sunday afternoon.

Don't think I will attend.

A couple of years ago I went to the KC Thai festival and found it a bit lacklustre. Nowhere to sit and beer that ai would not normally prefer

I think it's better suited for Thais and good for networking perhaps

I would rather have had drinks in a local pub with Coxgog + wife,  Nadia and Nampla, to be honest.

Seemed to be mainly food stalls and travel promotion stands.

I've bee  to so many Thai festivals over the years, and to be honest, not really enjoyed any of them.

Sorry to be a damp squid on this one.

Nowhere to sit

If that's the one where me & @nadia met you next to the beer stand then I found you a seat!

At least that's the way I remember it,I did consume a lot of draught Singha.

There were no.public seats. The stand next us   had a couple of seats and  kindly let me sit there for  while.

I'm not disabled but I can't stand in one spot for any real length of time unfortunately, especially on a hot day.

Reminds me of primary school...sadistic teacher caught me playing football on prohibited lawn area.

"Damp squid"     55555   never heard that one. Hilarious.

Yep.... I have very little tolerance for festival or holiday events. Good places for bad things to happen IMO. I suppose I am a bit jaded after having to work so many of them. Drunken shit fest is what most of them are.

Sorry

"Damp squid"

It's actually damp squib = a situation or event that is not as good as expected.

A squib is a small firework.

My missus went on Saturday, said it was baking hot & lots of people, only place to sit was on the ground. She didn't stay long.

But they did have Chang, which for me is an improvement over the Singha they had a couple of years ago.
