Popular Post Yesitisdakid Posted June 22, 2025 Popular Post Posted June 22, 2025 I get to Bangkok monthly for three or four days. As I'm in no hurry to get anywhere fast most of the time I was taking the bus from North bus station here in Pattaya to Ekkamai in Bangkok 131 baht. 60 baht to get to the bus station from my condo. About 40 baht to get from the bus station in Bangkok to my hotel so all in about 230 to 240 baht. But the last few times I've taken the door to door service from Bell which picks you up at your condo or hotel takes you to the north bus station where you board a VIP 24 seat bus which are extremely comfortable. They stop at the airport to let people off and then continue down to the Bangkok bus station just outside of town where transferred to a minivan to your hotel. The cost 450 baht about 200 more. But to me the convenience is well worth it I'm not sure how many guys know this is even available everybody I talk to when I mention it tell me they had no idea. I think it adds 30 or 40 minutes to the trip as it leaves 9:00 in the morning and I was at my hotel at 11:40. 4 7 2

But Pattays bus terminal has buses leaving for Bangkok every hour or less.....Just show up any time......Which I like very much... 1

The bus terminal to Ekkamai, and the BTS back to Nana is my preferred option.
Siam Addict Posted June 22, 2025 Posted June 22, 2025 If you don't have a suitcase in the hold you can get of at On Nut and get the BTS from there. Saves sitting in Sukumvit traffic. 1
latour82 Posted June 22, 2025 Posted June 22, 2025 I use the service from Ptt to The airport, and so the airport rail link to Bkk city centre, save me from the traffic in Bangkok 2

For some reason the last couple of times I have gone down to Jomtien and take the bus from there. I think next time I will take the "door to door" with Bell. Going to BKK from Patts, bus Ekamai to BTS to Nana the way to go. Coming in... Red line to BTS, BTS to Nana... piece of cake and cheap as chips.

Yes, and it's a pain in the butt for those of us in Central Pattaya as it was so easy to access the old location to buy tickets or catch a bus. 1
