^ When I was a young lad, I would nick an empty soda water siphon from the back of the Grants Arms in Ramsbottom. With the 7 shillings and six pence I could take my girlfriend to the cinema, and buy us a fish and chip supper each.

Well...if this actually comes here, will probably go see it.

Speaking of Gilmour, yeah I know, there is a million versions of this on the You Tube, but this kid is 11 years old?

He will probably not have any problems getting "dates" in his future.

I had a good friend at school who could hear a song a few times then play the lead guitar perfectly. When he was 14 we went to a workshop with Eric Clapton who said if he progressed as he should he would be better than him by the time he was 30. Bill died at 21 from a herion overdose.

It's decades since I have been to a cinema. My oh my how prices have changed. £18.50!

Last time I went was to see the movie about Johnny Cash,Walk The Line.

My ticket for Gilmour was £24.50 & that's senior citizens rate, but only £1 discount.

Are you a Ramsbottom chap or a Rossendalian?

Ramsbottom is a lovely little town these days and I've been in the Grants Arms, the Major and the Old Mill hotel (needs a refurb).

Played cricket there a few times aswell.

I moved to Ramsbottom @ 4yo, Not heard of The Major, the old mill used to be full of hens as it was a breeding shed I would have been around seven when it was first converted. We helped shoveling all the hen crap out of it.
