He had both addiction and mental health issues, they usually go hand in hand.

Not sure the cause of death yet, but sadly i wouldn't be surprised if it's related.

I know lots of people who met him in Thailand or Tenerife, said he was sound as f**k, no airs or graces, though usually full of the bevvy and coke.

He was a great fighter, but came up against Mayweather and Pacman in their prime.

Legend and salt of the earth.

I saw him a couple of times this Jan in Patts on LK and Boukhao..

I took my eldest lad a couple of years back to his exhibition against Marcus Antonio Barrera absolutely loved him as boxer .

Weirdly I was in the gym early doors this morning in a Hatton Barrera T shirt ..

RIP Champ 🙏🙏🙏

As for jumping to conclusions , leave that shit till it comes out for real.

Always came across as a decent fella.

Really sad to hear.

Feel for the loved ones he left behind.

RIP Ricky.

Ricky Hatton R I P & God bless ya. Met this legend a few times in Patts & you couldn’t meet a more down to earth genuine guy than Ricky. You were truly a fantastic boxer & will always be remembered as THE HITMAN.
