Taking the piss, especially as it's twice the price of The Ivy in London for Xmas dinner.

One thing they have done is increase the sitting time to 3 1/2 hours which is much more leisurely .... although the cynic in me thinks it increases the amount you spend on wine too ...........a nice little money earner ....

A retro-style poster in red, white, and green colors themed around Christmas, displaying the Route 66 Christmas Diner Buffet Menu. It lists main attractions including classic honey-glazed ham, slow-roasted turkey with all trimmings, creamy mushroom soup, and honey-glazed Australian baked ham. Festive sides feature golden roast potatoes, honey-glazed carrots, sauteed garlic mushrooms, and garden rolls. Sweet finales include traditional Christmas pudding and dishes from our kitchen, with coffee, tea, and water. Details note deposit per person at 250 Baht, all this festivity joy, seating from noon to 18:00, and contact in Pattaya at 094 989 9449.

750 is a pretty good price for Route 66 quality food......A 4,000 baht savings over Robin hood.

I wonder in case they have enough leftovers if people refuse to pay that amount on Christmas Day, they would drop the price by 75% or some such amount on the 26th or 27th?

Can't imagine that entire feast all being eaten up for that price without a considerable amount leftover. Whatever is left, keep it an extra day, and serve as a "leftover dish", for an even 1000 baht, or something like that, until the food runs out.

Sometimes these huge Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner leftovers actually taste better a day later.

I remember a place that had a day after thanksgiving special at half the price. This a few years ago as i recall.
