Popular Post Lemondropkid Posted October 19, 2025 Popular Post Posted October 19, 2025 Yes I know they are everywhere, but a Thai neighbour watching me carrying water back to the condo recommended the 7-Eleven app last weeek. Have to say I'm very impressed, have only used it for water delivery. It's a real feel of 42 degrees outside in Bangkok today, carrying water gets sweaty quicky. Ordered 12 large bottles of 7 select water for a bargain 98 baht. Unbelievably there's no delivery fee, the girl from my local 7 delivers it on the bike, ringing me up on her way. Ordered at 14.40 was delivered not long after 15.00 Tipped the girl a whole 20 baht, she was suprised and delighted. Guess being a Thai area no one else is daft enough to tip🤑 Anyone else use the app? 7 1 2

No delivery fee is unreal considering how cheap stuff is. I wonder if there is a minimum order value. 1

There may not be a minimum as they seem geared up to carrying small items on a scooter for local delivery. I'd suspect if you ordered a 10 baht bottle of water then you would find a delivery fee being added🙂 But me spending 98 baht, £2.20, $3 is pretty minimal. 2 1 1

Paid by CC on each purchase? Drawn from an online account at 7-11? Line pay app? Or something fifth? 1

I pay by cash, there was an option to pay by True Money(which I don't have). Didn't investigate the other options to much as only make a small purchase. Even as a casual toursit you should consider Bolt, save you get ripped off on taxi fares but up to you as they say😁 3 2 1 2

I always tell them to avoid Beach Rd due to the BiB doing their charity collections - but that often gets lost in translation. Car is bloody handy if you're not in a hurry and fancy some AC. Bolt is also useful for the areas where Taxis aren't easy to find. We used a Bolt car to go from Soi 10 to Oxygen Pratumnak a couple of years ago, easy to get there and easy to get back. I always tip the drivers as well. Can't be easy being hated by Baht Bus drivers, Motorcycle Taxi guys and regular Taxis all at the same time. 4
Glasseye Posted October 28, 2025 Posted October 28, 2025 Years ago I checked on their delivery app. At the time it was in Thai only, so of course I fcuked it off. Maybe that has changed now.... I need to check. Some of their drivers drive like complete maniacs. 1
