Oh.... dear Dog.   Has to be one of the worst ways to go. Basically you suffocate from the venom or have a friggen heart attack from the panic. Just awful.

I was wondering how it happened that they made it to the hospital showing no signs of anaphylactic shock, but then died a few hours later.

However they died just hours later after they were taken to the Luang Prabang provincial hospital."

According to AI Bob it was probably the toxicity of the venom that killed them. I wonder if the Dr's recognized the danger they were in and started them on dialysis.
