I was wondering how it happened that they made it to the hospital showing no signs of anaphylactic shock, but then died a few hours later.

"After the incident, the father and son arrived conscious at the Phanak clinic, showing no signs of anaphylactic shock – allergic reactions that can kill people who have been stung by bees, wasps and hornets. However they died just hours later after they were taken to the Luang Prabang provincial hospital."

According to AI Bob it was probably the toxicity of the venom that killed them. I wonder if the Dr's recognized the danger they were in and started them on dialysis.

RIP to the father and son.
