hotel need bkk

  heading to bkk on 2nd jan to see til lindermann from rammstein to see his solo gig as i can not attend his uk on in london this coming week.it happening at the UOB LIVE venue so need a hotel to stay at.been told of 2 alrady just liek to see what else is about guest friendly breakfast pool near nana and soi cowboy to 3 night stay most likely. any recommend a few plz guys. thanks

If you want something a little more fancy and just down the road in Suk Soi 8 then I can recommend 'Adelphi Suites' - book the King Suite - won't be cheap but it's a little apartment with full living room, separate bedroom and kitchen.

I stayed there a few weeks back - cost about 4500-5000 Baht a night which is both far cheaper than big branded hotel suites like those at Hilton and for superior as well.

Your venue in Phrom Phong so suggest Nana is slightly inconvenient. 

Jasmine City on Soi 23, very close to Cowboy and you can walk to the UOB in 10 minutes. Even closer to the venue but away from Cowboy S31 hotel, just cross the road to the UOB.

No i'm afraid not but its only a 5 minute walk to Soi 4 and Nana

I usually stay at Night Hotel on Soi 15 , it's in a quiet Soi and right between Cowboy and Nana

That’s great to know Cliff….Us old timers before the Smartphone days actually had to figure out where we were going, rather than just dropping a pin . Like I’ve said before , 11 months in the country from 2008-12 and I spent MAYBE 8-9 nights in BKK. Learned the hard way the odds/evens don’t match up, Soi 38 could be across from 23, definitely not 37! 
 

But one of my last weeks in the Kingdom early 2012,  had one of my best night ever…..Tulip for 3 rounds, Mandarin Nana for two more on-site, and a FL from a disco on Suk 11 for another couple…..And the whole day including room was way under 10K, more like 7K….ah to be young again 😩

After a few years of seasoning and disgust with the Soi 4 area I decided to start staying at hotels kind of between Nana and Cowboy. Over time I found a little place on Soi 8 which is right next to the Nana BTS station. But I doubt the place is what you are looking for.

Now I don't care much for the go-go's, in fact they are at times obnoxious. 

Around Soi 6-13 there are a lot of hotels. Difficult to make recommendations. The Landmark is a nice big hotel in that area (stayed there a couple of time, many amenities, not sure what the rates are now).

I'ts mainly hotels but there's 3 bars at the junction with Soi 4 which can be good fun

Are there even any non-guestfriendly hotels between Nana and Cowboy? 🤔

Most of the hotels have a rain puddle pool.

Spot on LD, have stayed here many times, over many years and it is a great location. Always get the "suite" Have been to UOB, most recently to see Sting back in Sept with wifey. 

Little Italy Restaurant right outside your door too...very nice. 

Never mind that girl with me many years ago....Jasmine Suites is girl friendly too
