Super Club Flies To 37,609ft

When this popped up in my recommended list I thought this is cool, a Super Club using mtn wave to get to 7 miles high. But no, they did it solely on engine power. Pretty amazing.

Interesting to hear about the temp and how they managed, that basically the Aircraft seals the cabin.

Speaking of engine power, they were pushing it quite hard it seems, and at altitude where air is thinner the air / fuel mixture will become leaner, but I'd assume that the engine , if fuel injected compensates for altitude, hence the stress on it.

Quite the achievement - I didn't watch the whole video but I must say that other than the basic airframe, this machine doesn't have much in common with the Super Cub I used to ride around in when I was a kid:
