Popular Post Yesitisdakid Posted November 14, 2025 Popular Post Posted November 14, 2025 Had an interesting situation today with grab wanted some simple Thai food so I ordered some crispy pork and rice and chicken and rice. And the chicken and rice always comes with a bag of some kind of dishwater looking soup but it's always good. So the driver shows up and she's trying to tell me something in Thai that I don't understand I explained to her I already paid they took it from my true money account then I understand finally she's telling me that she had gotten in an accident with the bike on her way to see me. She hands me the bag of food the soup is exploded the other food is a mess inside its containers. She looks at me and just drives away. I messaged grab and explain the situation and told him I felt I should have some sort of compensation. I couldn't eat any of the food it was just a mess it was a bag full of slop. Within 30 minutes of my complaining to them they put the full amount of the order back into my true money account and contacted me to let me know they would be doing that. I was very happy but more surprised didn't figure anything would come of it. And I don't use them a lot so I'm not a huge customer but they did right by me in any event so if you ever have a problem don't hesitate to get a hold of them they seem to want to keep the customer happy in this case anyway 3 5

I am not saying 100% she will pay...But thats usually the way these things work...

Minutes after the delivery I got a message through an email asking me to rate my service that's where I filed the complaint and told them what happened and then very shortly afterwards my account was back to where it was with their refund 2 3

Got fish and chips instead of a mixed meat dish. I didn't check the contents of the bag. The only contact I could find was an email address. A few days later after sending them a picture of said fish and chips and my original order, they gave me some vouchers to use which covered the original cost. I eat the chips and gave the fish away, but someone got a nice meat platter of mine. I always wondered if they complained also. 5

That was my exact initial thought. ---------------------------- Grab is an interesting service. Glad they are available. I have to admit the positives when using the app outweigh the negatives. I use it more for the transport than the food delivery. The app itself can be a bit frustrating at times, especially the past year or so. They have been loading it with various advertising gimmicks which can be distracting at times. 1 1 1
