Yes, there was a global Cloudflare outage last night.

Cloudflare restores services after outage impacts thousands of internet users

"The company said the outage that began around 6.30 a.m. ET was caused by an automatically generated configuration file, designed to manage potential security threats."

^^^ That's the same type of glitch that brought down the reservation systems around the world last year that used CrowdStrike.

In all  seriousness , I had done yet another update on my IPAD/IPhone to IOS 26.1.Thought that was the issue, also I thought it was a sign from the Lord I was spending too much time on naughty sites, but the “worst” ones were still working…..Then I Googled Cloudfare and saw what the story was

Damn those guys , they might have cost some Colombian escorts a lot of $$$$

I wonder if it prevented anybody completing a TDAC ??

Imagine any poor fucker trying to do it at the last minute before flying  !!!

They could complete it on arrival and if there was still an issue I would expect immigration would dig out the old TM6 paper forms.

Ah yes .... I can see that you have never been interrogated by EVA Check in agents at LHR ... The CIA could learn a thing or two from them..

I can see it now ..... "It clearly states on my instructions that no TDAC means No Fly" then a trap door opens to take you to the fiery depths to explain who Mr Cloudflare is and why you couldn't just phone him up ...

What docs apart from the pics do you need to upload for evisa?

If a bank statement is needed can it be a Thai bank?

Depends on what visa you are applying for.

A Tourist visa single entry gives you 60 days and requires much less than say an O or AO visa for 90 days.

Anyone have any tips?

I successfully got a 90 day visa back in May,it's generally a royal pain in the ass as far as I can remember ,think the only uploads was passport page, photo, flight details and a letter from my gf which I don't think I needed, now im about to go through the process all over again for a 60 day.

Had 3 visa exempt this year already and that 1 e visa, good luck.

Did 2 Korat immigration extensions last year. First one got the equivalent of the Thai Karen Bitch. Second one few months later all smiles and could not have been more helpful.

Ya win some ya lose some .....

For 90 days I would just get a single entry TV and extend it for 1900b.

That is if you have already been in on a visa exempt.

From memory, uploads something like:-

Passport

Last stamps in PP

Proof of home address

Proof of funds in the bank.

Proof of place of stay.

I will be doing a 60 day TV next trip, so just took a look at the official evisa site for requirements.

Always find it strange they request your travel booking before you have been granted a visa.

Yup, makes no sense at all.

Cambodia is the same.

Interestingly, the only time I have been asked to show the credit card that was used to make the booking, I had been issued a new card. Lol.

We are required to cut the old card up, but the check in girl didn't or wouldn't accept this. So I had to insist on seeing a supervisor before she would check me in.

"So my flight is paid for in my name, I have my passport to prove who I am and you won't let me fly" FFS?

That was a good few years ago now. Thankfully they don't seem to care so much these days!

Yes, I remember EVA always asking me this in YVR too but that was all, and then a few years ago they started getting sticky about visa dates matching flight dates, and proof of ongoing travel as well but thankfully I wasn't subjected to this before my recent flight.

It seems to vary from office to office.

Usually:-

Fill out the form.

Copy of passport

Copy of entry stamp

Proof of accommodation

Provide a recent picture of passport size.

1900 baht.

Some may ask for proof of flight home.

Big smile and dress appropriately.....
