Derek Dangleberries Posted December 14, 2025 Posted December 14, 2025 Over the years I have never found a pork pie in Pattaya that has the crust I like nor has enough jelly in, however Siamburis has a choice of pork pies and gala pie that might suit your needs as they deliver anywhere in Pattaya for free. I am much the same with pate except that I recently ordered Chef's Kitchen pate from Siamburis which was the best so far. I'd give it 8 out of 10 rating so room for improvement there mate! I'm expecting Tinnies recommendations but I've never used them ... 2 1 4

Derek Dangleberries Posted April 13 Posted April 13 I thought I'd jump in here with a pork pie related question. I like Chefs Kitchen pork pies but I only eat them at room temperature. Questions. - Does anybody eat their pork pies warmed up? - If so ...how? 1

Yes it's a delicacy and i think i might have posted about it before. Best is a large pork pie to share. Just put it in the oven - it's 20 years since i did this so a microwave or even airfryer may do the job these days. While the pie is heating up make a pan full of mushy pees. Serve on a plate with some mustard. 1

I worked with a guy ( some 25 years my senior) started off às a young Architect for CourageBrewery. One of his first jobs was to design the cock of the north pub in Westbury park bristol which was used for the coming of only fools and horses and renamed The Kebab and Calculator. Aanyway, I digress, Chris lived with his mother until her death in a glorious 4 storey Clifton townhouse and was immaculately dressed coming from a decent background but remained a committed bachelor with his three passions being architecture, drink and pork pies ! he used to take his annual leave search g for the holy grail of PP. Of course, Melton Mowbray was his favourite by far. His hobby was somewhat interesting not just before of the subject matter but also as to my knowledge he never ever drove so carried out his countrywide trips using public transport only. 2 2 1

When i first worked overseas we used to have 11 months on site and then 3 weeks home leave. Usually I flew into Heathrow, picked up a rental car and drove north. As soon as i got outside the M25 i used to stop at the nearest service station (of course in those days i knew all the names) buy a couple of pork pies, a couple of scotch eggs, a litre of orange juice and a mars bar and eat the lot in the carpark. I don't know why but i always felt rather sick after this. These days i hardly ever get back to the UK but i do find the Queen Vic pork pies are a very good replacement. And i just remembered rollmops used to be another service station delicacy. Kinilaw in the Philippines is a good replacement for that one. 1 1 1
