For sure as long like stillearly says he is a member,my company used klm, and ba to book flights to spain and holland when i was working over there, after each flight i logged into my account and added the miles,if they werent already added.

As Stillearly stated need to be a member of airlines frequent flyer club or star alliance below who are pretty good. But every airline also has class of ticket required to get full air miles. Thai has all sorts of complications depending on where and how you booked ticket. Found most of Star Alliance pretty decent including Lufthansa and Air Austria and KLM in Europe. As stated elsewhere you can claim miles afterwards often too. If he travels a lot on Business rewards quickly build up.image.png

Not KLM.  They're part of Skyteam.
